#MBFWA

As I was working night duty from 7pm to 7am, I was secretly watching the shows of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa held at Melrose Arch Jhb. I was intrigued 1stly by the designer collections and their choice of fabrics and their take on the fashion influence we are currently under. But as always what intrigues me the most has to be the street style! I'm in awe always when I come across such pictures. Particularly the red head and that dinky doll in a front fringe and that gap! Amazing photography by marco of man of the cloth. I'm reserving my seat now already 4 next years show

Delay, Saddest moment of my life :(

I feel awkwardly unpleasant, the fact that my phone, which I work on, has seemed to have a technical problem, I take pictures, they show for a fraction of a second then disappear somewhere in my phone. Its hard now cause ill have to fix this somehow! And if I don't get to soon, I think ill seriously loose it. Well I have to say "what an amazinging weekend I had...

Love and Hip Hop

This month has been such torture, having to study for my exams which have formally started today, I'm relieved its about that time I put a on this years hard work. Though my saturdays have been such an amazing get-away from all the pressure. Orthodox is a hip hop group that host hip hop cypers and chill sessions at a resturant 'Tourch Minaj' in Soweto Protea North just next to the megistrate court there. I've been really blessed with such raw young talent here and I have to say, missing a show would be like missing a train that would never come again. I've networked with a few of the 'Kats' that do their thing on stage, the Dj's that bless us with some real soulful tunes and beat makers with their sick a$$ beats. The vibe is chilled and surrounded by these inspirational people that hand down skills to the new comers in all pheres mentioned above. Below are some of the peeps I've gotten a chance to know more of, the 1st guy is Dj People, than the ever so soulful Dj Erb, the next guy, well I just liked the way he dressed, than its Mr West with the lovey sisMpumi and than the Rasta consciousness, the brother in the yellow bennie is the founder of Orthodox, Mr S.M.O

Beauty Queens

I was recently invited to be a part of my college 'Ann Latsky Nursing College's pageant event, on this day was the reharsals, I found myself enjoying this so much, the ramp was my star line for the night. I was so impressed by some of these girls, they were really good, felt a lil nervous looking at my competition but I somehow knew I was going to do good on the main night. I mingled with my girls and we had fun. Looking foward to the main staging soon to take place

When some of the items in store are on sale eg the bag she's rocking, can go down to R30, they keep leather jackets full maxi skirts, shirts, coats... Ima have to pay this place a visit soon

Style Classification

My love for style has drifted me loving the Maxi look. Ladies are adapting to this trend as the sunny days approach, Duduzile Mabuza's style (Lady in the Aurbun skirt) has took it to vintage by adding a staple neckpiece over her shirt that is buttoned up, or go sheek and simple for those picnic chills. Dress it up with a classic wedge or heel and go to town with it
